We are a group of enthusiastic wood carvers who want to preserve and pass on the art of carving to the next generation through classes and demos for beginners, intermediate and advanced carvers.

We strive to help carvers expand the breadth and depth of their knowledge and skills by offering new carving experiences as well as expert advice and educational and mentoring opportunities for those who want grow in a specific technique.

Numerous Ways to Make Them

This program featured Don Foust, the adult son of Frank Foust, the creator of Comfort Birds, as well as Diane Balch of Schenectady, NY, who leads her club's efforts, as well as several makers from our club.  They shared a wide variety of tips about design, roughing, refining, finishing, and use.

The show is now over and was a great success for us.  Thanks to all who pitched in.  We'll post some photos later.
