There are a number of local and regional shows that the guild recognizes. The events provide a showcase for the arts. The goals and types of art vary from one event to another. While the primary purpose of some are to provide a marketplace for the sale of art, others provide a place where artists can be judges and compete with their peers. The common thread that prompts the guild to post a particular show is that the event includes significant carving content. This is a venue for over 100 artists to show and sell their work. There are a number of booths representing local art groups including the Oregon Guild of Woodworkers.
