WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

This class requires some carving experience using mallets and related tools. Students will select from several designs and provide their own wood. They will need to band saw out their pattern, either by themselves or ask for assistance.

The ancient Green Man form has many styles, and this class will is intended for those who have never carved one but still have some carving experience and a range of tools (to be specified).

DATES/TIMES - Two consecutive Saturdays, 9:30-11:30 PM

COST - Tuition is $50. Students provide their own wood and tools, but some loaner tool sets are available.

REQUIRED BOOK - none, although there are several books or videos available from Mary May, Chris Pye, and Lora Irish.
