WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

The incised carving style typically creates line drawings etched into the surface of wood (or linoleum, gourds, soap, etc.) and can be done safely with one tool.

This workshop is for those who have never carved but want to try.  It is hands-on but experienced over Zoom.  You will be provided with free Basswood, a loaner V-tool and several patterns to choose from.  You will begin with the Dogs Welcome Sign first then create another of your choosing.

DATES/TIMES - One Saturday, 1:30-4:00 PM, date as noted

COST - free tuition, free wood, free loaner tool

The main challenges are getting you the wood and tools and you returning the tools.  If necessary you will have to pay for any postage.

WORKSHOP LEADER is Larry Wade, (503-312-7745, lpwade@gmail.com)

ONLINE only until we are safe from the virus, then hybrid.

As soon as the virus protocols allow, we will hold this workshop simultaneously online and in person near Beaverton.  However, attendees from a distance are welcome to attend by Zoom.
