March Meeting
(Tentatively) June 8th, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
DESCRIPTION
Soap, clay, linoleum, gourds, leather, high density urethane, and to some extent stone, don't have grain. All can be carved and all have their place. Soap is an ideal material for teaching children and others because the material is soft so tools don't have to be sharp. Janet wrote the book on working with soap and you will find this a fascinating topic, whether to help beginners carve safely, or to explore a new material for your own work.
