DESCRIPTION

Gil owns Drake Knives and makes some of the best carving tools in the world.  He recently did an online tour of his factory and showed how his tools are made.  For this program he will demonstrate carving a caricature from a roughout.

Gil has been carving since 1985, co-founded the annual NW Carving Academy in Ellensburg, WA and teaches there and elsewhere. 

Sit back, relax , learn and ask questions.  This a a great opportunity to learn about one of the core carving forms.
